history timeline navigation interface

Hi!

I need to make a scrolling history timeline in the same style as the navi @ www.yugop.com. The timeline should scroll to the direction you move your mouse to (from the center of the navigation interface). The further you move your mouse the faster the timeline scrolls.

If you know how to do the scrolling or a site with a tutorial on the subject, I would be very thankful to hear from you.
