    Aminated GIF: Colour problems

    I'm having difficulty with an animated Gif i'm creating for some email stationary,

    The colours are being dropped by Flash MX? Any suggestions?

    arent gifs limited to a maximum of 256 colours?
    that could be the prob

    well that'll be why.. You would know any other way of getting An animation into an email that can be brodly supported?

    u could always change the swf into a projector exe file for those who dont have flash
    that way they can view the file without having the plugin

    tried that?

    The problem is that i've imported GIF's (that look fine when static) into flash. Ive put a corporate strap line over the top and then exported it as an animated GIF.

    I've used this to biuld HTML stationary for email. I can't use .exe or .swf within a HTML email because of security issues.
