    Forms and Outputs?

    Hi,

    I'm making an Application form in Flash (its to win an Award), as such the entry questions are quite long and involved.

    I've got 3 Questions really;

    1) Is there a restriction on the length of the input fields from Flash that users can enter?

    2) can I have my form in multiple clips, or on different frames to make the application form in "chunks" (it goes over a few pages)?

    3) Is there a way that i can output the form to something other than an email? Basically I want to create an online version of a paper form and the form still needs to output in the same format. Acrobat was an idea, but i suppose everyone who uses the form would have to have the full version of Acrobat on their PC wouldnt they?

    thanks Amir

    Hi,

    servers are usually capable of creating pdf files (there is both free and paid pdf software for php), so your movie would send the form data to the server, nd the server would send a pdf back.
    And - of course you can split the dialogue over several frames and have all data sent at once
