    text effects...

    ok, here`s the deal: I have this video(.avi) that I need to put some effects on, like simple text effects and so on. Can Flash MX be used to do this, maybe with the help of Swish 2.0? I have no idea so help is apreciated:=)

    Import the .avi into Flash MX, then import your text effetcs from Swish in as well.

    It will work great !!

    is it that simple? what about exporting, will it export to .swf or the origial .avi?

    so there is no way I can use flash effects and still export it to .avi?

    As long as you don't place your text effects in a movie clip, you can export movie to .avi
