I don't know how far back I could go because I started a little over a year ago.

I know you asked Vatcher, but I thought I'd pipe in.

i studied graphic design in college, and the school started it's multimedia/CG program during my last year...so i missed out. if i had known how much interest i was to have in the field of 3D, i definately would have purchased an app or two, and i'd be working in the field today instead of just as a spare-time hobbyist. ...or at least incorporating 3D work into my designs at a more professional level than i am currently.

my advice...start young and learn, learn, learn. employers are looking for people w/ a multitude of talents/skills, while specialists are having a tough time finding work. ...and i think that the more varied your work is, the less humdrum, monotonous, and unfulfilling it eventually becomes.

thanks man, i can't wait to go to college, and plan on spending this whole next year before college learning max mostly, and some others, i would at least like to walk in and keep up with everything he says or maybe even be ahead of him to build from what i already learned, from that they might give me a chance to work for somewhere big, after all the college is owned by nintendo whoooo!

hmmmm...do you have a VCR near your computer?

i find reading books easier than watching movies, just b/c i can flip faster than i can rewind/ffwd. i love the CD-ROMs though...it's nice to see what's happening on the screen, pausing it, then experimenting w/ the application...all on your desktop.
