    connection failed???

    Hi,

Here's the situation: I have two identical machines running Windows XP (one at home, one at work).
On my work machine I am able to make a connection using the Sample Apps that come with the communication server. On my home machine I get a connection failed response.
Installation was done the same on both machines (developer install).
Question: Are there any other settings that may be causing the failed connection?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey,

off the top of my head, I can't think of anything that may be causing the problem except that maybe the service hasn't been started on your home machine? Does the admin stuff connect? If so, then it may be a license issue? Where both installs done around the same time? Are there other services running on your home machine that aren't on your work machine?

I'm not much of a windows guy, but I'll do what I can to help.

    Psx

    Hey PSX,
Thanks man, you're right on the license thing. I guess my trial had expired on my home machine. It would have saved me some grief if there was an indicator like mm's other products.
    Cheers for your time.
