    Flash Book Graphic Help

    Hi, i'm trying to make a graphic of a book in flash, and so far it isn't very good

    i was wondering if anybody knew how to make a book look worn and tattered etc (old/used) and to add character to it to make it look better (like a kind of leather effect on the book)

    i've uploaded the graphic to here - http://members.aol.com/masteryodaf/book.swf

    baisically i want to make the book look more realistic if anybody knows how

    thanks!

    cool

    wow looks really good - is there anyway i can import it into flash afterwards to make it move? ( i am making a kind of bookshelf navigation thing - so when you hover over a book it comes out slightly)

    i guess i'll use that that program then - do you have a tutorial for making that book anywhere? because it will be my firt time using it (obviously )

    if anyone has any other alternatives using flash - please post them

    I posted the swift file here;

    when you get swift there is a help forum here;

    your idea sounds good. i think it will take some thinking to get a good presentation ofer a low bandwidth although that last book animation is only 32k. Mabey you could go with only having one book animation and use settransform() to change the colors. anyway sounds like an exciting project. good luck

    thanks for the links, the swift 3d download is almost complete, i'll try it out soon - i'll post the finished thing here as sson as it's finished. i was thinking the smae thing about the filesize problem - but i'll make a preloader on flash for it, shouldn't be too big by the end

    thanks for everything!
