    new splash

I'm working on a splash for my new company site. Any feedback would be appreciated. You can view it temporarily at http://www.willi-jay.com/cc

    It's got promise.

    Thoughts:

    1. I dislike the "questions" that appear as part of the preloader on the entry page. It's about as uncomfortable as conversation in the mens room between urinals.

    2. The magnetic logo and animation is quite nice. I'd adjust the flow of letters so that it's more like a magnet is pulling it, that is, less uniformity and more clumping & bunching of letters and skewing until all is made right in the end.

    3. Also move the "sound off" button away (lower center?) from the logo so that it doesn't detract from it.

    A nice start.

I like it. The color scheme works, and the 3d element is nice. I too don't like the question, and the suggestion about the music off button needs to be addressed. I hope you use the same elements in your main site.

    i like it.

i think using text instead of the usual animation for the loading page is a simple, yet refreshing idea. since others seem to dislike the "questions," perhaps you should replace them with company's philosophy... or something more meaningful.

i'm not sure about the red arches representing the magnetic wave. it looks too much like an easy way out. i'd opt for transparent grey fields.

    great start!

i like it too... but i agree with taking the "how are you" off of it... it makes it less professional... i like the colors though and the logo... very good

a very "Enrony" logo, the page looks good though.

I agree that the magnetic waves looked a bit simple compared to everything else, like nuansa siad, try and beef them up a little

Oh geeze, never saw that until you mentioned it!
Do you think it's rational that people would compare
the two logos and rate a companies professionalism on that?

well I'm in the UK si I don't really know a lo t about Enron but that is what I immediately thought of when I saw it, maybe if you didn't tilt the letter it wouldn't be so similar.
