    Nice one olly,

    how you do that grundge / dirt effect in the background?

    I always just take a source image and "trace bitmap" in flash, then paste it in the place I want. This way seems not so effective.

    Well if I wanted it really grungy I'd put the layers into photoshop and do it that way but for that effect in the background I just used the eraser tool, set it really small, zoomed right in and started to earse loads of tiny dots.

    Here's the goldfish:

    Wow

    There amazing olly. I like the goldfish one best. Quite strange. How long does it take to draw them in flash?

    My friend billy ate his own chin!

    HAA!!!! Olly that's so awesome! XD it's almost like a hybrid species yet... it's just a goldfish-toting turtle. hehe! Great work as always!
    and, of course, the ice-cream holder is great as well.
    Oh man, I can see it now: your own line of cutlery and bowls (especially bowls!!!) to decorate a house with... the T2 for the fish tank, T1 for ice cream, who knows what other furnishings you'll come up with next :P

    Haha thanks guys, the tortoises are actually a series I never got round to finishing, there is a cup of tea, lamp, pot plant, bowling ball, all sorts
    I was going to do them as a series of prints or maybe postcards, though most of the stuff I just do and don't do anthing with, keeps me in practice thats all

    Tahnee that's my favourite of yours so far, nice shading and colours

    Thanks, Olly! I think I'm getting better at this shading thing now

    haaa... a bowling ball and a planter... sounds like a very fun series, you really should look into making notecards or something out of them!!!

    .... ::EDIT:: ....
    and in order to prevent a double-post.... I spent pretty much all of today on this!!!!
    (She's my friend from ASL).

    haha thanks mags-- ASL stands for American Sign Language Nice wip, is it a Noah's Ark kinda thing? Just a suggestion: the rooftops of your houses look a little flat-- I mean they're shaded, but it's like they lack some depth. The bottom-right blossom thing looks great, maybe try adding a core shadow down the mid-left of them and then have your reflected light coming up from the bottom and then the bright light on the top left (your light source). looking good, otherwise!

    mclelun! I love those! haha very cool, they all have distinct personalities and styles.

    Here's another painting... this time an acrylic version of a Treelawarg!

    hey thanks guys!! Glad you like the Treelawarg! I think it's my favorite so far.

    Olly, one of my friends has a mac and she uses a terminal thingee that comes with it, I THINK.... I played with a macbook the other day @ Fry's, but I really haven't used osX at all. She says she logs into some terminal thing to her FTP server, then she gives it commands on what to upload and that's how she uploads it... I just told her I go straight to my web host's control panel and use their uploading tools (if your host has one) if I can't use an FTP through Dreamweaver..... I hope this helped a little, prolly didn't but good luck with that!

    ::EDIT::
    Just painted this up last night!

    Great work magnetos. It seems 3D or a picture with great detail zoomed in a lot!
