Ah! It's only been forever since I've posted here!
    Or... a semester?!
Really great-looking stuff all around, guys!
Mclelun, I love the pixelation and the BSOD tied in with the classic Holy Grail killer rabbit!

Mags, your paintings are getting to be quite spectacular! I'd say the only improvements I could see on the snake lady are that I'd like to see some more reflected light on the right side of her legs and a little more shadow on her right eye (left to us). Also, I'm not sure about the lighting on her back (she's got such long hair!) but still... looks really really good!

Here's what's going on the back of Christmas cards this year. Enjoy

I'm not a huge fan of anime, but the drawing is really good. However, the body is too stiff -- looks like a cardboard cut-out with motorised attachments! (Sorry to be a bit cruel!) Just making the body shift slightly, hair blowing etc... would make a big difference.

Thank you for the advice... although I guess the carboard-ness was part of the style I was going for. Guess I achieved it xD. I'll watch out for it in my future works.

Would this be considered more towards your preference?

So I got an online shop up and running and I'm doing commissioned cute caricatures

    Cartoon-YOU!

    Cartoon-TWO!

Riyoku, as far as your values and lighting go overall it's pretty good; I do like what you did with the legs and the shoe on the Black Diamond! I feel that the palm of her lowered hand is a bit too dark, though, and the inside of her coat would probably be darker towards the top and lighter towards the bottom; I do see that you've thrown in shading and it looks really nice!
But I agree with goliard in that I like really action-y poses as well, this one feels as if it's floating, the weight distribution is very equal all throughout.
But it is a nice drawing! I'm an animator so I'm really biased towards drawings with lots of movement and gesture :P

very easy blink and smooth not as sophisticated as 3dmax or maya though still a great tool and it's free although there is a pro version !

great for building terrains landscapes and scenes like the one i posted which you can then polish a bit with photo shop but if you looking for animating stuff this is not for you don't know about the pro version though still a very nice product i recommend it

Excellent stuffs e-tahn! Love the gestures from the characters, especially their 'playful' eyes. Good stuffs. Did you colour them yourself? Your blog's full of black n white drawings.

    Just wondering.

Personally, I've drifted away from sketching, drawing and animating for so long now..

But I'm always interested for new materials and awesome drawings that anyone may have!

Boop!!!! Been absolutely forever... anyone here still into art? Mags, do you have your stuff up on social anywhere? (So weird how the Internet has gone from forums to "social media" apps). I get to draw and animate for money now, yay!

Yeah, I'm totally into art. For example, some time ago I drew this bird:

It's Mr. Bird for you. That right, he's Mr. Bird, and he's better than you, in every way. For example, Mr. Bird has a boat:

Do you have a boat? I thought so. Also, Mr. Bird can fly and, as he flies, he ****s on who ever he wants. Deal with it:

    Mr. Bird is outta here.
who is this? a word of friendly advice: FFS stop using AS2
