    Hi,
Great stuff here! I´m an illustrator/flash designer from Holland. This is an illustration of a girl I did a while ago. I colored it in photoshop.

Screen cap. And Flash's Trace Bitmap feature has a "pixel" tightness setting.

Wow.. there is some amazing artwork on here! Its really inspiring stuff.
    Here is one of mine...

Its a digital photo manipulated in Photoshop. Before you comment... yes, I know I require some cosmetic dental work!

hey, that's a great idea!! I want to make a calendar one of these days... hey, if you want to make like a real published wall calendar, does anyone know the pixel dimensions? not that I'll get started on one any time soon... LOL I just love my Get Fuzzy calendar and I was thinking about doing one.

I like the setup of yours, though!! has cool pics! love 'em.

aah very cool indeed... I have hardly done any work in 3D in a looooooong time...

I'm uploading my 2003 desktop wallpaper... er I have been for what seems to be an hour... the address (if it ever gets uploaded,) is:
    http://www.tahnee.com/happynewyear2003.jpg
although I doubt it'll be up any time soon... grr (stupid servers not working in IE, so I'm working offa netscape 4... AAAAGH it's obsolete!)

...you know, the left image of the ship... looks like a bird head... kinda... it's got the beak, a huge eye, the fluffy head feather thing.. a neck, and then kinda goes down into the chest... sorta... heh could color it in like a bird jk!

I love the Gradius games, especially the Gameboy-version of the first game, Nemesis. Howewer the birdheadshaped spaceship is the coolest i the genre.
    hmm...

Might want to start with this one:
    http://oposite.stsci.edu/pubinfo/pictures.html

NASA usually releases lots of royalty-free space images - a google search should help.
