    editing imported sounds

    I've imported a song I want to use in a swf file. I want to use 23 seconds in the middle of the song. I've indicated the clip by using windows->panels->edit and defining the beginning and the end of the clip. BUT...when I export the swf it exports the ENTIRE song. My swf should be <100k and it's over 500k.

    Help. What am I doing wrong?

    First of all you could do edit your song in any sound editing program if you want to short your song otherwise when you import your song in flash your flash file obviously get heavy. If you want to stop your sound between some frames you can do an action i.e. stop sound or stop all sound. Hope your sound will be stop accordingly.
