Hello! I decided to make a flash game in Macromedia Flash 8 last year in high school as a project. The game was really good in my opinion, it could use some improvements like better graphics etc but I was really happy about what I achieved even though I followed a guide.

Very recently I decided to improve the game, atleast the improvements I'm capable of doing (which isn't that much :P). The very first thing I decided to insert was background music which obviously makes the game much more fun to play, atleast that's what I think. I browsed around the web for some basic music creating, the first thing that came up in my head was 8-bit music since the game itself is really cartoonish and played in 2D, I'll post a youtube link further down to the game in case you want to see how the game works.

There were some create music programs that I used to make the background music and I eventually made it to the point where I could import the sound to the library and add it to the game, however... The problem is that the sound is overlapping the sound from the previous level which makes it really annoying to play the game. I have been googling the problem and there are actually a few descriptions on how to fix this but none of them work, probably because most scripts were for actionscript 3 and Macromedia Flash 8 doesn't support that.

I was hoping that one of you guys have been working with Macromedia Flash 8 and probably have more experience with this program than what I do, and in case you do know the script for this problem, feel free to tell me! I would relly appreciate it! :)
