excel'ent problems.....really bad joke sorry

Hi there....
does anyone know a piece of actionscript that will allow me
to grap a number off an Excel spreadsheet and post it on a page....i don't know a thing about actionscripting so the less complicated the answer the better....

I dunno, does it have to be off a spreadsheet ? You can probly use java or javascripting for this one. I would think it would be easyer if it was off a notepad file or a html page. If it was in a notebook file all you would need to know is the line # and you could easly make a javascript to grab it
