1 Movie or Many Movies in HTML Files..?

    Hi All,

very much a newbie at all this...with building a website in Flash, is it better to build it entirely in one movie or have smaller movies embedded into multiple HTML files...? Hope that makes sense...TIA.
    TIA. Cheers All.

Depends on what you want from your site. If you want any chance of ranking well in the search engines, you pretty much need to use html pages and embed your movies as part of the page. Search spiders can not read a swf. I have seen some beautiful sites made this way.

If ranking doesn't matter, then build it all in flash.

And by the way, you can have several sfw movies running on a single html page at one time, although it will probably slow down the users processor if they don't have a fast computer with lots of RAM.

I havn't bookmarked them, but here is one I saved. Many of the others were game sites where the swf's were embedded in really nice interfaces.
