If you want anime model sheets, simply go to a Japanese book store and buy them. Even in the near pre-historic days of anime fandom (in the U.S.) it was possible to buy Japanese anime magazines from local comic book stores.

Such magazines as Animage, New Type, The Anime, Animedia, Anime V and others always had a dozen pages of model sheets for new shows in every issue.

For the hardcore collector, series reference volumes like the Roman Album series, This is Animation, New Type 100% Collection, Best Hit Series, Best Collections, Perfect Volumes, Am JuJu Books as well as various "Mook Books" and film story books had 100s of pages of character and mecha sheets, episode/movie story guides, pull-out posters, and more.

I'm sure these kinds of items are still available. Heck, I saw some on the shelf at a comic store in Paris, near the College de France. Has this kind of resource been lost to the new generation of anime fans? Bookstores are still treasure troves!

It does kind of look like a realistic model... for the next Resident Evil videogame.

Not commenting on the link - I could see some of the poses being useful (never was a big fan of poser, tho).

But I thought the models came pre-built - how could a mouth slide that far off of the face unless the jaw was broken? Ouch!
