Recommended Frame Rate for FLV

What is the recommended frame rate for a FLV file? 12 fps? Also the main timeline for my site is 18 fps. However, when I load the movie swfs (encoded at 12 fps) the frame rate appears to slow down. I thought the main timeline frame rate stayed the same regardless of what movie you load into the timeline. Perhaps this is not true for video files?

Keep your frame rates as factors of each other:

Like : 24 flash : 12 or 6 flv

Thanks Wheels. I changed my main timeline to 24 fps and it seems to be working better.
