Flash MX Help for a NEWBIE

I am fairly new to Flash, and have question about having multiple movies together on one screen (I guess that is how you would say it). I want to have 3 different things happen (not at the same time), what I want is a Entrance movie, a description movie, and a gif animation all at the main page of my web.

I have drawings of how I would like it to look (Very basic). Just not sure how to go about it. I bought a book "Flash MX for Dummies", but it doesn't say anything about multiple layers of movies in one main movie.

IS THIS POSSIBLE and if so AM I WAY OVER MY HEAD?

If you want to look at the drawings email me and I can send them to you.

So you want your intro movie to play, and then your description movie, and then your gif animation?

If so, you can either construct them all in one movie, or have them as separate movies and use the Load Movie action to load them.

There are actually 5 total parts but that is pretty much what I would like to have happen

How would I do it all in one movie - do I start with more than one base Layer?
