    Loading... how to?

    Hello fellow Flashers. This might seem like a simple question to all you Flash experts, but how do I ad a "loading.." scene to my web page while the flash movie is loading?

    well, the short answer would be to use either the UI componet set II from Macromedia or use the bytes based preloader. Both of these you can just drag onto the first frame of the movie with no other actions. After the prelaoder detects that the move has loaded it plays the next frame. below is the byts based preloader (also avalible on MM's developer exchange)

    here is the extentions manager...you will need this befor you can install any componets.

    this is the PC vertion. If you need a mac vertion you will need to goto the developer section at MM.
