    Corporate flash/html site beginnings...winner or a loser?

Please give me feedback on how things are starting to look.

Do you like where it is going or not?

(Before you ask..this is so I know whether I need to go back to the drawing board. )

hey Clif, I thought it had promise. A few thoughts: 1) add enough table padding (in the lower white area) so that the content lines up with the top black box. In addition to improving the layout of the design, this may improve your balance of white space. 2) add more hit area width-wise to the Flash buttons on top so that the areas butt up against eachother. The colors are nice and corporate. I think you're on to something.

It's really looking pretty good clif. I think you and I are not as far apart as you may think because each of us are directing our sites in a similar fashion. More meaty content, less flashy frilly stuff. I really like the flash nav with the light up backgrounds at the top. nice job again. I don't usually ask this when I review a site, but would you take a look at mine and offer up some commentary. I would be interested to see what you think give our each of our sites inherent similarities.

    Thanks fellas....

    joost, sure thing man.

    Serpent star:

Very good suggestions. I never thought of butting up the hit areas but now that I think about it..that's a great idea!

I kept thinking there was somethin not quite right, but I couldn't figure out what it was as things seemed to be done the correct way.

Once again, thank you both...and I'll review your site joost.

Could anyone give me feedback on my article as well?

    http://www.clifgriffin.com/news/news_item.asp?NewsID=2

I've started shaping the layout of the homepage so you made need to hit refresh in your browsers if you viewed it previously.

    Thanks in advance,
    Clif

this site sucks...well you did ask for snide remark...
Actually I like it, good color and just the right amount of flash, omg this is beginning to sound like martha stewart.

One thing I would like to suggest for the button rollover color changing background thing, I dont kn how you are achieving this now but when the color changes the picture seems to jump a little, and now finally the suggestion, just use a layer over the top of it with a movie that has about 70% alpha and is the color you want. I dont know if that might work but I suggested it anyway.

And for anyone that read only the first line

    This Site Does NOT suck
