    scrolling navigation

    Hello Board,

I'm looking for a way to make a timeline (a long row of buttons) move right and left across the stage depending on if a user's mouse is to the right or left side of the SWF.
My 20 or so buttons are lined up horizontally and are longer than the stage itself. These buttons are all contained in the same movie clip called "timeline" so all I have is that movie clip on the stage. How can I allow users to browse the timeline by making it slide right and left depending on the position of the mouse?
I've seen this done many times but am at a loss as to how it's done.
Any help is very much appreciated.

    Best Regards,
    KQ
