    image/ swf sizes

one of my sites has many full screen fashion images.
i've tried many variations of jpeg'n imgs to import into flash, flash jpeg'n them on output,etc...
my site is still pretty big.
my jpegs are around 40k coming into flash.
i don't notice much file size reduction with the flash pub settings.

"www.zoozoom.com" is full of large images, yet loads quickly.
    am i missing something?
or, is this as good as it gets.
thanks for your time in advance,
    rA

    Are you using MX ?

MX allows you to load in pics dynamically using loadMovie !!

    no MX here.
still keepin it simple with 4.0 version.

i guess i can cut up my movie and use "load movie" to start download of images desired.

i just wondered if there was some top secret "large image/small file size" trick i don't know about.

    didja check out "www.zoozoom.com?
    very cool.

    thanks for "optimaze" link.
    i checked out the site/program.
unfortunately it doesn't work on jpegs or sound.
just what my site is full of.

pngs seem large comin out of photoshop, so i stayed with jpegs.
are jpegs the best way to go?
