Downloaded it, it's a .max file, not .3ds...

Heres my spider - based on a 3ds mesh

Thanks Daniel, the mesh worked out great! The spider is basically all in chrome. Just playing and still learning. Need to play with light a little more.
So, what do you think? I put him on a table, just for some background.

Man, I have just started messing with the newer versions of Swift.
Tell me please how you made that. I mean seems to me when I dreaw a line or something in THE LATHE it makes a weird shape in the scene editor. Was this entirely created in SWIFT?

I imported the spider mesh from a 3ds file. Then just added the textures and effects.
    Believe me, I'm still learning.

98svt... mind if I merge this thread with the existing spider thread you've started?

Be my guest Gerbick! I got the mesh from a Flashkit member. If you want it, let me know. Go to http://3dcafe.com they have alot of great meshes to import into swift. They have to be .3ds files for them to be importable.

The mesh was made in 3D Studio Max. The way they made it...well, thats just talent.

and search for "spider" (without the quotes)
