Hello
After reading the SMALL section in the manual about placing QT movies in a Flash movie, I imported one. I added a few frames and hit the enter key. It looked good. But then I exported a .SWF movie, and it only shows a blank screen. I exported as a projector and it does the same. I tried this with a few different movies with different CODECs, like Cinepak and Sorenson... Well, it doesn't work. Am I missing something?? I made sure the path to the movie was right, and it is.
I need to make a presentation for a client, and I need to include a couple of quicktime movies. Please help me sort this problem out, and after that, if anyone can tell me what's the best way to handle a movie (do I put it inside a movie clip symbol or in the main scene? any other considerations?)
Thanks a lot in advance!!

this probably ain't the best way but it works.
you need to create a new movie. size it like your video.
what you need to do is save as movie (ctrl+Alt+Shift+s).
select the sequence, jpeg, gif, bmp, animated gif and so on.
this will create *.sequence x the nuber of frames.
so if your movie is 120frames you will have 120files.
You should reduce the files and speed up the movie if it's to put on a web site. (gets kinda heavy)
after you open the movie you wanna put the video in.
create a new symbol Ctrl+F8 and name it video1
import the first file of you squence.
flash will ask if you to import all the images of the sequence... Answer yes.
then open the library (Ctrl+L) and drag your video1 symbol
in your movie.
Good luck and have fun!!!.
Mundane.
reply if you have probs.
