don't quite know why Mr. Patel is Sikh, it's traditionally a hindu name. and if he is hindu then why is he wearing a turban ?

Also the handgun probably wouldn't work if it had been in the freezer for any length of time. A factor that anyone should consider before embarking upon any planned invasion of Russia.

otherwise not a bad little animation for a beginner.

I pressed the lucky button and I didn't get the Magnum or the loot. What's up with that????

Guess I don't understand British humor.

I'm British and didn't get it either. What is the joke because, sorry I didn't laugh. Also it was a bit long winded, if I was a shopkeeper and I was going to get my gun out of the fridge I would:-

    a) get it out a lot quicker

    b) not take my eyes of the robber

    c) not keep the gun in the freezer in the first place, under the till would be more easily accessible in the event of a raid

    The 'Cornershop' cartoon

OK, So Disney, Spielberg, Southpark, and The Simpsons have nothing to worry about.

It might not be the funniest sketch in the world, but your comments really made me chuckle.

If the words were edited, as I thought they most probably would be, then I wouldn't be breaking the rules. Those words should be edited out in the same way other words are edited out, then you wouldn't have to have edited them yourself.

But I now know what words can't be typed, it's only taken me 2 years and four monthes.

I'd argue that you were. The rules of these boards are that the environment is 'G'-rated, so there should be no need for you to be posting any of those words in the first place. That's like arguing that we should all use warez just because it's possible.

But I'm not going to get into an argument over symantics - if you have a problem, post it in the feedback forum or get in touch with the webmaster.

I'd only win the argument anyway.

I'm more than happy to point out to Starkey that there are certain words which should be censored out, I thought they already would of been.

Warez??? Not a very good comparison.

Close the thread please, or even better delete it.

how about u delete ur posts and get the thread back on track... its not real life, just an animation so no need to examine it so much....

i thought the animation was ok.. but the two choices of ending were too fast, press yes... he's outside, press no he's dead?...
maybe some longer endings would be better....

oh well, keep working on it though, u'll only get better with practice
and try not to use gradients to much... they are ugly...

It was an idea I had long before I began using Flash

The cartoon wasn't conceived to entertain, it was a vehicle for discovering new techniques in Flash. much more fun than burying your nose in the manual.

I'm amazed at how many British 'Flashers' there are here too.

Don't think Americans are smart enough to learn Flash ! Too busy eating

Sure, you can say whatever you'd like. Of course, my paycheck would tell a different story.
