    closing movie clips

    What is the action script to close a movie clip?

    I just used a stop() command in a blank keyframe at the end to clear it (wasn't thinking). But I just realize that I might want to revist clip content....which I can't do presently because its still open (even though you can't see it).

    I hope my question makes sense.

    unloadMovie(), removeMovieClip()

    It depends on how you loaded your movie clip. If you loaded it from a file (i.e. "*.swf") or from your movies library. You will want to either use the myMC.removeMovieClip()or myMC.unloadMovie(); I hope this points you in the right direction.
    God bless you!
