    BUY A STAR! what a scam

    Okay sorry but this really caught my eye as a huge scam.

    got an email saying GET THE PERFECT CHRISTMAS GIFT! Buy a Star!

    Wow a whole 25% goes to charity... right!

    simple..your buying names for stars ..if i read it right.. you buy the name u get a chart or booklet saying you named it and thats it..if i'm wrong stop me.. i didn't read all of it..soo anyway..your just buying a piece of paper saying you bought a name that you said was a star... basically its BS

    while the site might be new - the concept is fairly old. i remembered someone telling me that most of the stars have already been named , and buying a star is indeed bull****

    that would suck if you named a star that turned out to be another planet dominated by some pissed off race...they find out and come to kill off humans for believeing they can name something and own it

    Yes they have been selling land on the moon and mars for about 20 years now... I guess some are still waiting for that investment to pay off.

    oh and vamps- you read it right.. just find a star that's not taken and it can be yours for a small fee of course.

    The idea of buying a star. Lets face it, some stars are
    thousands of light years away. They might not even exist anymore.
    If someone tells you it can't be done,

    me and a few friends decided to try and buy each other the strangest xmas present... one bought me some land on the moon. was funny.

    now im just waiting for the gov. to land on the bastard again so i can hit them with a 17,000 % super tax for being on my land....

    I remember considering it as an xmas gift about 5 years ago. Back when spam was almost interesting

    Whoa, that was before the 'I noticed your website isn't in most search engines' spams. I really need a life.
