Getting into something new here =]

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted here on Flashkit.. Well, anyway...

The extent of my Flash experience is entirely centered around the use of ActionScript. I've decided that I need to push the line further and learn how to draw as decently as I can code. II was wondering if anyone could pass on a couple of tips for someone who wants to start making a good animation or two.

Specifically, I was looking for help as far as the best ways to animate and at the same time keeping the file size down, and the most effective way to create an animatable character for any particular movie.

Any help is greatly appreciated =]

Woah! Don't all jump to give me a hand at once guys XD

Hey, if this is one of those general questions that I'd be able to find an answer to in old threads, someone could at least tell me wether or not it's worth a look =/

    Regards,

I think the question is a bit too general - if you search the boards, you will come up with lots of great info (even a thread devoted specifically to animation tips).

Also keep in mind that board traffic generally slows down on the weekends, so you're not likely to get an immediate response to your posts.
