texture background and swish

I have made a textured background for use as a banner b/g and cannot get the swish movie to go on top, it arrives in FP OK but removes the background and just shows on plain white b/grd. Do not want a plain colour if I can help it.
I am sure there is an easy answer to this somewhere.

Do you want the flash to be transparent? If so, on the export tab, select html, then window transparent. This will eliminate your background in the swf file allowing the background of the page to be visable.

Have done this, also removed the background and left it white in the swish movie panel, but I am afraid the movie still rmoves all the background formatting on the web page, even the tables that it is NOT going into.
Should I rebuild with a white bgrd, and do a clean save with the tranparent HTML.

It may be a FP problem. Try exporting to html with the transparent background, then open the html file made from swish with FP.

Sorry to be a pain but:
Have tried placing in the HTML box, placing in the banner, and nothing happens, tried copying the actural HTML words into the banner tags, still no go. Getting desperate, been at thisfor four hours, it's 2am in the morning down here. More coffe coming up.
