    Loading sound files

I have a web site made entirely in Swish.

I am a musician so I have many MP3 demos I want people to be able to download and check out.

How should I do this in Swish so only the files people want to hear get downloaded. Currently Swish is doing very strange things. It is not working like it does when I preview it off line.

Currently I have made a separate scene for each sound file. Each scene has a preloader.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, you can't preload just a scene. You can preload an object, but that's pretty involved.

I would suggest streaming the audio, and using Load Movie to load each streaming sound .swf as the user selects them.

Take a look at Swideo, Soundnails and Flix for some options to convert sound to streaming .swf, or run a search on "streaming" here for some informative threads.

    Hope this helps!
While changing my profile, I accidentally clicked the link that said
"Add 'Dead Rabbit' to your Ignore List"
so now I can't talk to myself anymore...

Does anyone know where I can download a file that has done this? I would like to see how they did it.

umm The programs D.R. listed are not swish and they output to
    swf
so I would suggest you try one of them to convert your
    file.

then use load movie in level or sprite (except with soundnails
for that see my article at swishzone)
