    odd problem

    Hello,

Im using IE version 5.0 with W2k SP2. I have that .swf file who sits in the server. the problem is some users cannot see the .swf file tho they have the same permissions as the users who run the file successfuly.

the users who cannot run the file see only the outside table which was made with html.

The funny thing is when they(problem users) drag the file into IE the .swf runs properly

    thx in advance guys

    Seeing it would help. Url?
Is it a Flash MX swf? Did everyone had the right plugin?
Maybe you didnt embed the swf correctly.

you cannot see it cause it's an internal network.

everyone had the same plugin (flash 5)..

if wouldn't have embed it correctly all the users wouldn't be able to

watch the movie.. thing is some users can and some not..

Dragging just the swf to the browser would not use any embed code, thats why I suspected something was wrong with it ( as it was only the everyone could see it).
Or maybe you meant the whole html doc when you say "drag the file into IE".
