Can i ask you a question? I like to have a special effect to my buttons. I would like to have a little blinking effect on my buttons. When you get over the buttons the background of my button must blink two times with a white background ( a little bit of lightening effect). Another problem is when you rollover your button the mouse change in a finger when you get just over de lines of the word. I would like to have it that the mouse changes when you are in a scare over the button, if you know what i mean.

You can make the blink effect out of a movieclip.
When you make the "blinking movieclip" put a stop action at the end of it to stop it from blinking repeatedly.
Now make your button. Put the text of the button in a seperate layer in the buttons timeline. This can help solve the problem of the finger appearing just over the text.
Last, put the blinking movie in the "overstate" of your button.
So, Im sure you can tell what is happening here. The movie clip plays inside the button when you mouseover it. The stop action stops it from blinking over n over.
The attatchement l made was done on MX.
But I saved it in Flash5 Format incase Dj Persone had a different version.
It doesnt matter what verion youre using anyhow, the instructions I gave should work on any.
If youre meaning making a tutorial in the tutorial section of flashkit... ummm, no. lol.
I dont think this situation is worth it.
The instructions I gave on my last reply is pretty much a tutorial anyway.
