    ElectroServer(xml sockets) or FlashComm?

    Im researhing some flash server options for my game. Ive looked into ElectroServer as it was created for games. Does anyone have exp. w/ both? Which is faster? XML sockets for the RTMP? Whats everyone using?

    I haven't done any tests comparing the two, but there was an ok thread on the subject here:

    In general, both are great technologies for games. It just depends on how much money you want to spend, and how comfortable you are with either. Both have a fair learning curve. XML sockets have the advantage of being around a lot longer, so there is a lot more info/tutorials/etc to get you going.

    If you decide to use FCS for the game, post up your progress/questions here! I'd love to help out with what sounds like a pretty fun project.
