    inspired to finish it off.

    very nice website

only thing i dont like is the amount of time it takes for the pages to load up, with the flashes and sounds ect, its kinda annoying.

now all you gotta do is finish it

oh yea, i like the little slogan "the only constant is change", nice touch.

    hey unflux

Really like the site, especially the rollover sounds The images you have used at the top work very well, very clean, maybe speed up the transition between sections especially if you have visited them before. Maybe have code to test if visitor has already loaded up a section and let it appear straight away.

Like your fonts (what is the name of the one you use for your section titles?) Problem with the scrolling text on homepage it is a default one.. I'm sure you know how to fix that...

Maybe add a little movement to the top section, but don't take from the 'bitiness' of the site, its very cool.

    font you used?

Was that font you've used (for the 'UNFLUX' logo) Neuropol? Looks like it. That's one of my favourite fonts.
D2B, Your design is very slick. Nice transitions too, although maybe if you sped them up a mere tad they'd
load quicker and we wouldn't lose that miniscule amount of patience.
Yes, the scrolling text was a bit difficult to read. Also: I noticed that you've put a 'close this window' link on
the main page, but not one on the pop-up page (the one w all the content)...?
Looks like you pulled off the design successfully to me.

    thanks for the feedback

Flashlor - thx for the comments. that slogan popped into my head the
very second i came up with the site name. I think it fits
    nicely.

    _currentframe - all fixed, thx

problems4me - thx for noticing the top images. I think it really
helps the site along in may ways, and not just for looks.
They all have a certain reason for being there. As far as
the transitions go, i would definitely agree with you on
coding them to just pop up, I'll just add that to the
list... Scrollers = all fixed. The top sections
are definitely going to get some movement, I just haven't
decided exactly what yet. thx for the comments!

hGraf Design - Neuropol it is! Yeah, I love it too. When I was
browsing fonts for the title and logo, as soon as I saw it
I knew it was the right one. I gave the framerate a boost
and it's helped a lot. The close window thing isn't that
big a deal so i'm not gonna add one to the pop. the X is
    fine for that.

juxtaman - upped the framerate a bit, that should do the trick. thx

Thanks everyone for your comments. All have been good ones and very
helpful. Also have pushed me into wanting to finish it. I wasn't
sure I was going to, because I hadn't worked on it in so long, but I
    think I will now.

    very smooth

Yes, the faster framerate helps alot.
You say in your profile that you're looking for work...too bad you can't
stay self-employed, as you do have a talent for building a clear design.
Very smooth & slick...keep up the good work!

PS: Yes, Neuropol (& Squaredance) are (is) my favourite(s).
    Good thing they're free!

thanks for all the feedback. I'll hopefully have it done in the next
few weeks or sooner. I'll repost it then to see if your opinions
    have changed.

tony203us - thx! I think my style is more corporate and professional
so I take that as a great compliment.

hGraf - i would love to stay self-employed and do web sites full time,
but i'm having a hard time getting clients for some reason.
I just may not be talking to the right people, or have the
right approach. I talk to people and businesses all the time
about their current sites, or even a potetial one that I could design.
If I could get a new project each week, I would be happy with that
amt of work. One thing I think has hurt me, is the lack of portfolio
availabe to show. So, that's part of the reason I chose to go ahead
and finish this design. I'll let you know if a few weeks if it makes
    any difference.

    Thanks!
