My name is Arjan Toet and I'm using Flash MX. I'm searching an plug-in (or a easier way) for inserting mathematical figures like: squares, equations, fractions, etc.
Right now, I'm drawing all the figures myself and using the graphics out of my library.
There must be an easier way to do it. Only I do not now how.
Is there anybody with an better idea than the way I'm doing it right now??
I search for fonts, and found out that they won't do the trick. I start using Microsoft Equation Editor. This program is easy to use and exactly what I needed.
Only the copy paste from Microsoft Equation Editor to Flash MX is not OK.
What is the best way to import an Microsoft object into a Flash scene?
If you've got Flash mx studio, and are on a Windows system, you should be out of trouble. If not, I can help you, if you tell me (*haha*, SHOW me) what other signs you need.
I did the enclosed file in Freehand 10, converted the letters to paths, and exported as Flash file. For some stupid reason I can't reach the symbols from within Flash.
You should create a symbol of each one, those you need, of course. If you're going to reuse the symbols in many movies, you should create an swf-file (importable) of each one, to import to later files.
