For a site i plan on using a measuring tape to show how much progress is left on the preloading and with the method described I will get a jittery sort of ruler movement. Is there any way of making the measuring tape move not jittery prloading?
here is what i want to use as preloader http://sites.netscape.net/cclumber/ruler.html

    Cool

You could make short tweens that only play when the % of the movie has loaded. Like from frame 10 to 20 have a tween from 0 to 10% and continue up to 100%. Have a stop action at frame 20, 30, 40. and have the pre loader in the main timeline check and see if frame x is loaded tell target ruler goto frame 11 and play, etc. Regards, Bill
