how do you approach someone if you want their domain?

i am looking to buy a domain (jgo.com - funily enough) but it is already taken. the domain is not up for renewal until 2005. i fancy taking a chance and emailing the owners asking if they would accept an offer but i would like some help with the wording. i want to sound as professional as possible and thought you guys could help.

thanks, any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

I think you might find some problems considering the nature of the site that's already there. But there's no harm in emailing them and asking, but i doubt they would part with it.

Make sure that your checkbook enters the room before you do.
