    network game (hexagonal chess)

I have built a couple of hexagonal chess games in Flash. I would like to develop them as network games for the purpose of licensing, but I currently lack the knowledge and the tools to accomplish that goal. I am open to joint ventures with individuals or companies with whom I can partner to accomplish the above goal. I can not afford to pay for services up front, but will split any and all income from licensing fees and royalties with a partner.

The games can be viewed at:
    http://www.sunstardesign.com/gameSample.html
    http://www.sunstardesign.com/HexaChess/

HexaChess™ includes pawn promotion, en passant captures, castling and text decriptions of all moves. I will soon be adding these functions to Hexis™ (see gameSample.html). Also, both games have copyrighted 3-player versions (with 3-player gameboards) which not yet constructed in Flash.

I would appreciate any advice or feedback.

    Snike,
I like your game. Here is my product: http://www.livepros.com/devCenter

Please read through it, i am sure you will like it. Development is FREE and i am sure when you are ready to go live we will work something out.

I have read what you have published about Comm byCD at the livepros.com site. It looks intriguing and I am glad to see that it uses xml. I am still a bit unclear about how to implement it. I have requested a developers kit. I use a Mac G4. Will I be able to use the developers kit on my Mac?

    Smike,
I saw and replied to your Development Kit Request. Since the Comm byKD is run as a service you don't need to install anything that you already don't have on your computer and you can use any platform to develop on.In the kit are a couple of source files that show you how to connect, communicate and disconnect from Comm byKD.

In summary Comm byKD provides the backend which enables flash to create multiuser environments as well as access SQL database. XML structure is not a must. You can get away with sending just plain text. However with xml structure there is just so much things to do
