Soundloops sound cut off?

I am just testing swish 2 and I have an annoying problem. I downloaded some loops from flashkit.com and placed them into a flash movie, but I can clearly hear the end of the loop before it plays it again.

This happens with about 10 different loops that I have tried Am I doing something wrong or are the loops just crap ( which I can't believe that so many of them suck )

Does anyone have a loop that I can try that they believe to work 100%?

try this file. if it does not loop well on your system, we'll see what can be wrong.

This one sounds much better but I can still hear a mini gap. Maybe it is my system or my ears are just so damn well good

Any other samples that are more like the one you posted ?

try this one. i have editted it to loop without any discernible pause; and to my uniniated ears, it is fine.

if you're still not satisfied, then you may want to seek professional help at SoundFX, swishspot, etc. it is unfortunate that Frets isn't around. he is an expert in sounds (also a moderator at SoundFX or someplace where the sound specialists congregate)

It almost certainly due to your NOT selecting 'Always use LAME Encoder'.

MP3 format often adds a brief silence before and/or after the sound, so you may wish to use WAV files for your test. Alternatively, you could take your MP3 files into a good sould editor (like Sound Forge) and crop the silence from the ends. You will still have to be careful, as compressing to MP3 can still add these irritating silent bits onto your sound. Even if your sound has no silence before or after, there may be a harshness that makes itself known when looping - again, a good sound editor is your best bet for removing this, too, and it takes some practice.
