So Im using my new safari browser...
It rocks!
MUCH better than IE5 for mac... the buttons look cool (html form buttons), the interface looks nice, its faster, I love the options (only allow cookies from sites I browse too...)
LOVE IT!

I've noticed that my .swf files run very very slow on it. They work much better on IE. I already sent them the bug alert about it. I noticed that it's especially bad on one site that I have a move running at 18 fps.

Just watching the mac expo. They are on the Safari browser. Looks ok but Id rather wait a couple of weeks maybe a month for all the bugs to get out.
Hey mx_kid, hows the Google search box? That seems like a cool feature. Hows the swfs? Flash sucker brings up a good point.
I noticed how Steve Jobs didnt mention the Flash Player with Safari.

The google option works fine. Swf files are super slow, IE is still the best at that. I use Safari more and more everey day, but I still need IE when it comes to flash sites.

Yeah google bar works great Flash player sucks anywhere on the mac, I dont think its limited to IE - its a macromedia issue not a browser thing... page load times are sooo much quicker in safari too.

A really good browser (who saw that comming??), good rendering speed and a really nice bookmark app!
But there is one thing I'm missing: tabbed browsing!!
Take a look here for some screenshots

Am I blind, or is there no "home" button...

home button issue resolved

I'm not sure whether this applies to the new beta (51) but nonetheless remember it is a beta and thus messy things can happen...

Seems that POST operations are not working correctly from Flash6 in Safari, unless it's me. Anyone else notice this?

soon I will be rid of microsoft from my life forever.
joy

Can anyone confirm whether using .send() to POST variables via CGI is working for them using Flash in Safari, or perhaps point me to another site I can test with?
TIA!
-
Sal Orlando - I'm using loadVariablesNum and I too am experiencing problems with Safari. I haven't found a fix yet though.
