soundedit problem

When I want to record sound,soundedit crashes,Eror type 1,3 or 11.Know I know type 2 means the program hase to have more memory ,so I changed that >still same problem.Worked great before.It only happens when I set my sound options to incomming sound in the mac setup.What could be the problem?
If this can be solved can you recommend me a soundrecordprogram for mac.

are you using soundedit from macromedia?
if you're getting errors then i would delete prefs in the system folder and if that doesn't help, then delete the prefs AND reinstall the program.

the program i would recommend for sound recording is sound studio.

this program is pretty simple and is available for both macos X and 9. so you won't have tow worry about what system you may be using in the future.

if you want something more complicated with lots of effects and expandability and still free then i recommend spark me from tc works. a german company...
