    camera animation in max

    How can I animate a camera follow a sertain path in max?

    I know you have to use dummies, but how do I do it?

    Anyone? or a link to a tut about this?

    Step one.

    Use the line tool to draw the path you want the camera to take. For my example just use the arc tool and make an arc.

    Step two.

    Create a "Target Camera". Put the target where you want. Now select the camera. On the panel with the tabs like "Create", "Modify", there sould be a little wheel. Click the wheel. Now make sure you have the camera selected...Under the Assign Controller rollout there should be a line called Position. Slect it once and then click the green triange above it(max 4) or for max 5 the ?. A new window will pop up. Select "Path Constraint" and click ok. Now under the New Path rollout click Add path then select you arc. Now run the animation slider back and forth to see what you did.
