Image Fader Component
I have imported a graphic, placed the image fader component over top of it and it works fine. When I rollover the image the black box slowly fads to clear, revealing the picture beneath. The question I have is that now I want to add another rollover to this particular picture. I've made the graphic a button and added a rollover script but it doesn't work. Is it possible to have a rollover on a component that is already using a rollover? Thanks

I don't think so. Seems like the outermost code (if you have mc's inside mc's for instance) will be the one ruling.
Have been experimenting with this question for a few days now.
But, what you can do, is to collect more code on you button. It can trigger as many actions as you want, on the same event.
Just put it inside the code's opening and ending brackets, first action first.

I've never used the image fader component, but what is the specific effect you are trying to achieve? Perhaps we can offer a different solution.

I can get a partial invisible button to work over a scrollpane component, wonder what it would do over a "rollOver" component?

I have a series of pictures in a square, with the image fader component over top of them. When I rollover the image the grey box fads to clear and the picture is visable. I would also like words to appear in the middle describing the particular picture on a rollover. I can't seem to add 2 rollovers to the same image though. I will get rid of the image fader if nescessary. Thanks for your help.

Where'd you get this component anyhow?

I got the image fader component from here:

I will post the .fla file when I go back to work on Monday.
Thanks

Sorry, I cannot attach the .fla file. I keep getting a message telling me it is too big even though I zipped it. Oh well.
