    ah,

    you don't want to put that code i showed you on the html page. that code has to go on a button inside the flash movie.

    i don't think you can make a flash movie into a button on an html page

    Don't do it!
    I mean, don't use <a href on the Flash movie!
    There are two ways: the most regular is to attach code to a button (or a movie clip acting like a button) in the Flash file, that takes the user to where you want them to go.
    Like this:
    Code:
    on(release){
       getURL("http://an.externalpage.com","_top")
    }
    This will act like a regular link in your html-page.

    If you still want to use HTML for creating links, it's better to do it on pictures or plain text instead.
    Hope this helps you a bit

    i'll repost the pop up code from the last thread.

    stick this on a button inside flash and it'll give u a window as cleana as a whistle. No tool bars and so on.

    TheCaramellas code is cool if u just want a regular browser window.

    Code:
    getURL ("javascript:NewWindow=window.open('filepath','newwindowname','width=440,height=585,left=0,top=0,toolbar=0,location=0,scrollbars=0,status=0,resizable=No,fullscreen=No'); NewWindow.focus(); setTimeout('NewWindow.moveTo(50,50)',1000); void(0);");
    filepath is the location of your file
    newwindowname is the name of the window you create all the rest is self explanitary
