Thread: framerate after loadMovie

    framerate after loadMovie

    i have a big movie running at a framerate of 15 which loads several other movies from the filesystem using loadMovie().

    these movies have sometimes a different framerate.
    how exactly is the framerate changed? i guess its using the parents framerate, but im not sure?

    is there a way to avoid this?

    is there a way to avoid the scaling to the size of the parent movie?

    thanks!

    When you use loadMovie, the loaded movie takes on the parents FPS, I have found no way around it.

    I guess this can be arranged using setInterval.

    I've just done this (Not so hard actually), change the number 50 and myMovie into yours and try fitting your desired speed, please do ask if you have any question.

    PHP Code:
    setIntervalFunction = function () {
    myMovie.nextFrame();
    updateAfterEvent();
    };
    setInterval(setIntervalFunction1000/50);
