how do i store text to be retrieved later on

    Hi all.

I would like to know how something can be dona and more to the fact can it be done.

I have a text field in a movieclip and would like to know that if text is typed into that box whether it can be retrieved the next time the user opens up the swf.

Can this be done and if so would I use an array or some kinbd of xml document.

The main thing is I want to be able to retrieve the text the next time the swf is opened so my first thought is xml as I thought the array would be cleared when the swf is closed.

If this can be done could someone steer me in the right direction of how or better still if someone has an example they could email i would be most grateful

    my email address is pixelmagikau@yahoo.com.au

    Cheers in advance pixelmagik

Server side scripting is surely one way to go. Other than that you can look into this:
