That and sometimes you can loose your toolbars when switching from different apps, especially if you click on your main window rather than using the dock.

and then there's the weavy window effect!
when you click on another program, then try to get back to flash by clicking on it again... sometimes, but not always, the flash stage window disappears behind your finder window or whatever app was in the foreground before.

I keep looking at the Macromedia site, hoping for an update because I assume that these problems with the Flash MX dev environment on the Mac must be *so* obvious. But unfortunately MM don't normally put out point releases/fixes of their software :-(

Yea, I've been there. I made a layout set to go back to when I lose my windows.

Hmm, OK I hadn't been using flash for some time and just got back into it the other day and this was happening...so I decided to do something about it.

First off, I got a driver update from ATI (I've got a Radeon 8500), which didn't seem to fix the problem...but hey, worth a try.
So then I went for the trusty "delete the preferences" option, and it seems to have worked.
If I tab or click out of flash into another app and then tab or click into the flash window, everything gets redrawn great.

Before I trashed the prefs making it mess up was easy; just tab out and then go back and I had to resize the AS panel to see anything. Now I can't recreate the problem at all, either by tabbing back in or hiding the app above flash or anything really...the panel always gets redrawn and my palettes come back every time. Try it, you might like it

    Cool stuff
