I can't seem to find any articles on this at all!

I need to move a clients site from nicnames to another provider who is more relaible, and also 'supports asp and multiple email forwarding. '

Thinking about domain names, but they seem quite expensive ( comes out at just under £200 for the set up £50, 30 megs £70, and multiple mail forwarding £50, for one year! )

A good price is important, but what really matters is reliabiity.

I reckon if anyone will know it will be u guys.

    Thanks in advance

    jim

(Oh yeah will need around 30 megs)

    Mine

Got my registration for £48 from registerit.com and they have a free hosting service.

You can pay something like (I think) £20 a year for a full free hosting, I'm not sure of the details (size, support of ASP etc..)

But its a good place to start!

If you are not fussed try http://www.freenetname.co.uk any free .co.uk address and they host everything. I use them as an ISP too... very fast!

    Hey mark,

Thanks for the reply and I've done some research in the meantime.

I'm probably going to plump for either domainnames.com, nildram.net or orbital.net tried registerit.com and it took me to netscapes search engine registration program (euuuuh) which is a shame as that sounded like a mighty fine price.

My site http://www.myhairisnotmyown.co.uk is with freenetname so I see what your sayin there.

If you here of any others then please post them up as the more the merrier.

Also laughed my ass off at the two page post, those guys must be huge.

    Back to the Lab/Pub
