    Animated Buttons

I realise this is prob a very easy question, but I'm a flash newbee although I've been a web designer for 6 years. I have no problem with flash animation or creating buttons... but I can't seem to figure out how to make an animated button. I would like there to be a motion tween on the roll-over state in my button. I have looked through the the tutorials and I cant seem to find one that illisrates how to do this. Can anyone help? I'd really apreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jessy

    Hi,

I guess you get better responses in the actionscripts forum ... this one is mainly about flash interacting with servers

This really has nothing to do with "interacting with servers" (no offense Musicman). You simply need to make an MC in the "over state" of your button. Insert your new symbol at the mouse "over" frame and create your tween in there. You actually might get better results searching for movieclip creation or putting the 2 together (buttons/MC's). This will perform the animation I believe you desire.
    Regards,
