    drink recipes... what's your favorite?

    Mojito
    • 1.5 oz Bacardi Limon
      1.0 oz Triple Sec
      10.0 fresh mint leaves
      2.0 lime wedges
      .25 oz simple syrup

Into a cocktail mixer (shaker), squeeze one of the lime wedges, discard the rind. Toss in the mint leaves and simple syrup. Add the rum and triple sec, muddle together with three ice cubes, shake vigorously. Strain, pour over ice, top off with Sprite (around 5-6 oz) then garnish with mint stalk and the other lime wedge.

      Enjoy this sipping drink.

    Royal Scotch
    • 1.0 oz Crown Royal
      1.0 oz Butterscotch Schnappes

Shake with ice, strain into shot glass.

    gerbirita
    • 1.0 oz Malibu Rum
      .50 oz Triple Sec
      .25 oz sour mix
      .25 oz Blue Caracao
      1.0 thin lime wedge
      *optional - splash of sprite

Shake in cocktail mixer with ice, Malibu Rum, Lime, Sour Mix and Triple Sec. Strain into martini glass. Pour blue caracao into martini glass - it will settle to the bottom, not mixing. Excavate lime pulp, leaving only the rind, garnish with lime rind, and serve.

Vodka is for people who can't stand the taste of adult liquor. (I should know, it's all I drank in Uni).

I like scotch, good scotch, with some ice. Something like Ballantine's, Logans, something like that.

And beer. What a shocker. Lager, on the sweeter side, so cold that it's got some tiny ice crystals floating around in it.

not really a drink recipe but a strange but wonderful food/drink combo.

Discovered this when as a poor student one night we had nothing else to consume:

    Port and Vanilla ice cream

now i know that sounds nasty but it really works, you get hammered on the Port and eat the ice cream at the same time and the tastes really do compliment each other.

ps vodka jelly's a good laugh too, gets you hammered in no time

anyway what is nice too is vodka melons.. you take a water melon, make a little hole in the top. and for a week long jam a full bottle of vodka upside down in that hole. put it in the fridge... when the bottle is empty slice the melon and eat it

(and ofcourse which is wich i have a test tomorrow so i didn't have time to reread it )

As I'm too young to consume alchohol, I resort to things such as sparkling cider. I would swear that if it had alchahol in it, it would be champain

Except Champagne is made from grapes and Cider (which is alcoholic) is made from apples...so if you've come across a bottle of Cider that tastes like Champage someone has been going a bit happy-go-lucky in the labelling factory with their own product.

Enjoy it while you still can! Next bottle you buy will taste like rat's piss again...

oooh cider is evil stuff to be avoided.

had a bad experience on it once, can't touch it now

same goes for whisky, just the smell of it brings back bad memories.

lager, vodka, champagne, gin, port, red wine are lovely though....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm boooooooooooooooooooooze
